This glass bubble counter is a precision tool for monitoring CO₂or airflow
in planted aquariums. It features a built-in air stone to diffuse bubbles,
allowing you to visually count and adjust gas flow rate accurately, while
the transparent glass body provides clear visibility.
Key Features
Transparent Glass Body: High-clarity glass lets you easily see and count
bubbles, ensuring precise flow adjustment.
Built-in Air Stone: The included blue air stone breaks gas into fine bubbles,
improving dissolution and making counting easier.
Suction Cup Mounting: Two strong suction cups secure the counter to the
inside of your aquarium glass, keeping it stable and visible.
Compact Design: Slim, cylindrical shape fits neatly in most tanks without
disrupting your aquascape.
Safe Material: Non-toxic glass and plastic components are safe for freshwater
and saltwater environments.
Installation & Usage
1. Mount the Counter: Use the suction cups to attach the bubble counter to the
inside of your aquarium glass, near the CO₂ diffuser or air stone.
2. Connect Tubing: Attach the inlet tube to your CO₂ regulator or air pump, and
the outlet tube to your diffuser/air stone.
3. Fill with Water: Pour a small amount of aquarium water into the glass
chamber (leave some air space at the top) to allow bubbles to rise and be counted.
4. Adjust Flow: Turn on your CO₂ or air supply, and observe the rate of bubbles
rising through the water. Adjust your regulator/pump to achieve the desired flow
rate (e.g., 1–2 bubbles per second for planted tanks).
Care & Safety Instructions
Cleaning: Rinse the glass chamber and air stone with warm water periodically
to remove algae or mineral buildup. Soak the air stone in vinegar to dissolve clogs if
needed.
Inspection: Check the suction cups and tubing for leaks or wear regularly.
Replace worn parts to maintain accurate flow measurement.
Safety: Avoid dropping the glass counter, as it is fragile. Keep it away from
sharp objects to prevent cracking.
Notes
Ideal for planted aquariums using CO₂ injection systems, or for monitoring
airflow from air pumps.
Helps maintain stable CO₂ levels, promoting healthy plant growth and
preventing algae outbreaks.
